The lovely Abi of the blog Vanilla and Lace  recently visited our Mississippi Ave shop and featured us in her “I heart Porland” series. We’re flattered and we think she captured the shop beautifully. Here are a few of our favorite shots, to see the rest visit:

Molly Marika’s Top 5 at Porch Light

Molly Marika works at Eden, which is right next door to us in the Pearl.  If you’ve ever been into Eden, she’s probably the one that offered you a sip of champagne and happily answered all of your jewelry questions.

She’s also got a keen eye for design and a vast knowledge of antiques.  So, when she was perusing the store earlier, I asked her to compile some of her favorite items from Porch Light!  Here are Molly Marika’s top 5 picks:

1. Jane Diaz Necklace

2. E. Barrett Soaps

3. Pollen Arts Candles

4. United Nations Towel Set

5. Zig Zag Woven Wool Blankets

Interiors We Love: Pt. II

As 2012 begins, we here at Porch Light are filled to the brim with new ideas and inspiration. We’ve compiled a few of our favorite photos to share with you and maybe give you an idea of what to expect from us in the coming months!

While the outside of this bus is undeniably charming, it’s really the inside that makes it for us.  Couldn’t get any cuter.  (via kaydrizz)

I loved this so much I tried it at home with my own mini cable table!  (via theformalist)

A great use for old wooden crates. (via ashleycorl)

I love the pops of color with the stark white.  (source unknown)

With the hanging lamps and a saw blade for decoration, this space is definitely reminiscent of our Pearl shop.
