Though the past few weeks have been truly beautiful (rustling red leaves and crisp mornings), I have to admit that it’s getting a tad chilly. It’s always around this time that I start planning for the coming winter months. So far those plans include reading by the fire, woolen socks, and stocking up on these items below:
Some beeswax candles made out of antique jar molds. Not only are the candles 100% organic and natural, they also smell incredible.
A book to read by said fire. Mark and Sally Bailey have co-written tons of wonderful books on home improvement and interior design. Which is perfect, since the home is probably where I’ll be spending these next few months. We have an assortment of their books at both Porch Light locations.
A warm San Diego Hat Company hat. We’ve got tons over at our Mississippi location.
A Dash & Albert throw, available in various colors at both Porch Light locations (image via Curious Bird). Perfect for throwing over your shoulders while your morning coffee is brewing.
Barr Co. bath salts and bubble elixir, available at both Porch Light locations. The salts are made with oatmeal, which soothes irritated or itchy skin, and milk powder and mineral salts. Both are made in small batches. by hand in the United States.
